The Prophet- On Friendship

And a youth said, "Speak to us of Friendship"

Your friend is your needs answered. He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving. And he is your board and your fireside. For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.

When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "nay" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "ay." And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart; For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed.

When you part from your friend, you grieve not; For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain. And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit.

And let your best be for your friend. If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also. For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill? Seek him always with hours to live. For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness. And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.

For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught.

Mujhse naraz ho to ho jao.......

I never even knew this song existed. Maybe was too immature when I saw " Papa Kehte Hai". Then lately I heard a friend sing this song and have been dying to get the lyrics and music......If anyone knows where I can download the song please let me know..

Here are the lyrics...

Mujhse naraz ho ...to ho jao khud se lekin khafa khafa na raho,
Mujhse tum dur jao ...to jao aap apne se tum juda na raho!
Mujhpe chahe yekin karo...na karo tumko khud par magar yekin rahe,
Sir pe ho asmaan , ya ke na ho payr ke neeche yeh zameen rahe !
Mujhko tum bewafa kaho...to kaho tum magar khud se bewafa na raho
Aao ek baat mai kahu tumse... jane fir koi yeh kahe, na kahe
Tumko apni talash karni hai humsafar koi bhi rahe ...na rahe
Tumko apne sahare jeena hai dhoondti koi ashra na raho,
Mujhse naraz ho to... ho jao khud se lekin khafa khafa na raho!

Ye lamha filhaal jee lene de....

One of my favourites....

Ae zindegi, yeh lamha filhaal jee lene de!
Pahele se likha kuch bhi nahi roz naya kuch, likhti hai tu
Jo bhi likha hai ...dil se jiya hai
Ye lamha, filhaal jee lene de!

Masoom si hassi, bewajah hi kabhi honton pe khil jati hai!
Anjaan si khushi baheti hui kabhi sahil pe mil jati hai,
Ye anjana sa dar ajnabi hai, magar khubsurat hai...
Jee lene de ye lamha, filhaal jee lene de!

Dil hi me raheta hai, ankhon me baheta hai kaccha sa ek khwab hai...
Lagta sawal hai shayed jawab hai, dil fir bhi betaab hai!
Ye sukun ... hai, to hai ye junoon ...hai to hai khubsurat hai,
Jee lene de ye lamha filhaal jee lene de!

About Loving and losing- Nice Read from Somewhere

I heard once that love means that you think about a person as soon your eyes open in the morning, and as soon as they close at night...that's how I loved her

I was never mad at her. I would be lying if I said I was. You can't control the thoughts in your head sometimes. And you can't control who you love. It's a strange feeling, loving someone. It can be so sad sometimes. Even sadder than death, I think. Love is something we'll never really understand. We can open our eyes to death, and feel that it's real. We can watch it happen right in front of us, and we can accept it, even though it isn't always easy. But love isn't like that. Love makes us weak and desperate. Love kills parts of us we never even knew we had. I guess I still love Jenny, because I can't remember a day that I ever really stopped. But I do remember the day she told me she didn't love me anymore. The day she told me that she loved someone else.

I heard once that love means that you think about a person as soon your eyes open in the morning, and as soon as they close at night...that's how I loved her
